Well, he might become long-distance again after his current contract runs out. I am ok with it because in a couple of years it will mean more choices for him. If I am still with him, it will mean more choices for me as well.
I am also bummed because I really like that he is nearby.
Whatever happens, I suppose it will mean more adventure. I like to travel, it’s just getting pricey. I would visit him though, as much as I could holding a full-time job, teaching yoga and going to grad school.
If I’ve learned anything, especially in this last year, I’ve just got to go with the flow. I can miss him, but it doesn’t mean I stop loving him or loving my life. It is what it is.
